Event Description
Discover the potential of observing our mind in the context of meditation and loving kindness. When these practices are embraced with ethics and wisdom, they can enrich our experiences & deepen the meaning of our lives. This can lead us to taste a fresh “outlook” towards ourselves & others.
This is a series of workshops that can be followed one by one or as a course. It is an interactive process which includes guided meditations, contemplations and discussions.
These sessions are open for beginners as well as for those who have some previous experiences of meditation.
Love and non-duality part 1 (11 November)
Love and non-duality part 2 (25 November)
Love and non-duality part 3 (9 December)
Love and non-duality part 4 (23 December)
This series of talks will be focusing on the training of the mind in love and compassion (Lojong) and discovering what the mind of enlightenment (Bodhichitta) really is.
As a matter of fact, love is a big generic term and can be understood or misunderstood through so many different angles. However, what do we mean by love, compassion, great compassion and unconditional love in the context of a spiritual practice? And why the wisdom of non-duality matters?
Beyond philosophy:
The courage to be free part 1 (6 January)
The courage to be free part 2 (20 January)
The courage to be free part 3 (3 February)
The courage to be free part 4 (17 February)
The impact of certain aspirations on our daily lives may seem surprising. As we start the new year, we have a lot of resolutions to choose from. And among them we will discuss and explore this particular intention: The courage to be free.
What is the essence of freedom?
By studying what freedom really means through the prism of Buddhist philosophy, we can open up infinite possibilities for the benefit of ourselves and others.
