Event Description

Nearly half of women in the UK are living in silence throughout their menopause journey, living in discomfort and ignoring one of the most distressing symptoms – vaginal dryness. This common symptom does not need to be treated as an inevitable part of growing older - there is an accessible treatment solution to empower women, and help them lead a more comfortable life, day-to-day. Despite the high number of women experiencing problems related to vaginal dryness, it is still a ‘silent problem’ that many women feel too embarrassed to talk about – to partners, family, friends, and even healthcare professionals – 68% of women do not feel comfortable speaking to healthcare professionals.

In line with National Women’s Health Week, Replens is working in collaboration with Rest Less to host the nation’s biggest live conversation around “The Silent Problem” – vaginal dryness. Led by TV Presenter Anna Richardson and The Perimenopause Doctor, Dr Shahzadi Harper, the discussion will break down taboos and help raise awareness to normalize the conversation. Dr Harper and Anna Richardson will discuss how vaginal dryness can impact daily life and intimate relationships, and will discuss the resources and education needed to encourage inter-generational conversations.

  • Duration: 60 mins
  • Online Zoom event: Join from your computer, phone or tablet (no replay available)

Preparing for the Event

For the best experience, you will need to have Zoom downloaded onto your computer. Please ensure you're connected to broadband/wifi rather than using your mobile phone connection (3G/4G).

We also recommend that pets are either calmly sitting on your lap or in another room, and any refreshments you may require are within your reach!
