Event Description
Following the very popular original talks, come along to hear about even more highlights of one of the greatest museums in the world and hear its amazing stories from a former official British Museum tour guide. We choose our favourite objects from across the globe and bring them alive, looking up original locations where they were found and tell their stories about how they got to the museum.
This tour features Easter Island statues, the world's most famous chess set, the world's oldest board game, Buddhist and Hindu statues, fakes such as a crystal skull and a mermaid, the earliest Bill of Rights and more.

Preparing for the Event
For the best experience, you will need to have Zoom downloaded onto your computer. Please ensure you're connected to broadband/wifi rather than using your mobile phone connection (3G/4G).
We also recommend that pets are either calmly sitting on your lap or in another room, and any refreshments you may require are within your reach!
