Reviews
-
Thoroughly enjoyed this talk. Lively and informative.
-
I enjoyed the talk as it was given from a different perspective of a father's view of his sons involvement in D Day along with the civilian life of the time.
-
A fascinating insight of D Day viewed from the very personal angle of a father who had himself served in the WW1 trenches and had some idea of what his son might be going through. I liked the way that the routine of their day to day life contrasted with the D Day landings. History is after all about all of us and our experiences of major events.
