Event Description

The assassination of President Kennedy on 22 November 1963 was more than a national trauma, it initiated one of the greatest murder mysteries of all time, and an industry of conspiracy theories. ‘Conspiracy theories’ on issues ranging from climate change to stolen elections, are a sinister feature our age of social media, fake news, and culture wars. Chris Forse warns that ‘conspiracism’, an infatuation with dark, unseen forces, should not be confused with ‘conspiracies’. Chris will investigate the crime of the last century on the basis of evidence and testimony about those 5.6 seconds in Dealey Plaza. Was there or was there not more than one person involved in the killing of JFK? That is all we seek to know. Beyond that, all is speculation. Chris spent many hours over two decades, exploring the evidence and will share some of it with us. Watch and listen without prejudice and conclude on the basis of probability, beyond reasonable doubt.

Preparing for the Event

For the best experience, you will need to have Zoom downloaded onto your computer. Please ensure you're connected to broadband/wifi rather than using your mobile phone connection (3G/4G).

We also recommend that pets are either calmly sitting on your lap or in another room, and any refreshments you may require are within your reach!

Your camera and microphone does not need to be on for you to enjoy the event. The choice about whether to do this is completely yours.
