Our adventure begins in San Antonio, where we'll delve into the storied past of the Alamo, a pivotal site in Texas' fight for independence. From there, we'll head to Dallas, where we'll find tranquility amid the lush beauty of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Next, we'll visit the charming coastal city of Galveston, known for its historic architecture and sandy beaches. In Houston, we'll explore the wonders of space exploration at the renowned Space Center Houston. Our tour will also take us to Austin, the vibrant capital city celebrated for its live music scene and eclectic culture. Finally, we'll end our journey in Fort Worth, where we'll step back in time at the historic Stockyards, experiencing the true spirit of Texas with cattle drives and cowboy heritage. This tour offers a comprehensive look at the diverse and dynamic heart of Texas, providing a true taste of everything this unique state has to offer.

Meet the Host, Kelsey Betzelberger
A Chicago native, Kelsey is an experienced travel writer, opera singer & German teacher. She just moved to Spain with her husband & two cats, and loves to eat! She has traveled (mostly solo!) to 47 countries on 6 continents, and lived in Austria, Germany, France, Croatia, England, the Netherlands & Spain. Kelsey believes that, instead of having the trip of a lifetime, she prefers to have a LIFETIME of TRIPS! Fan of the phrase, "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list!", she can't wait to explore the world with her fellow culture- and travel-lovers. What if I can’t make the event?
If a recording’s available for the event, you can still register for it and we will send you an email with a link to a recording shortly after it ends.
Will my camera be on and will I be visible to the other people?
Your camera and microphone does not need to be on for you to enjoy the event. The choice about whether to do this is completely yours.
How do I watch the live event?
Rest Less events are hosted on Zoom, a computer application that allows you to attend online events just by clicking a link. For detailed instructions, please go to our "FAQ" page, which you can find a link to in the nav bar at the top of the page.
How do I sign-up for and access the recording? (Recorded events only)
Book the event as normal (as if you are attending live). After the event ends you will automatically receive a post-event email with a link to the recording, as long as the event was recorded. You do not need to do anything else and there is no separate booking process for recordings only. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for Zoom to process recordings.
