I have always loved holidays and visiting new places so working for P&O Cruises for the last 14 years has been incredible to combine my passion with my work. My role at P&O Cruises is to train our travel agent partners to inspire and educate them so they feel confident to sell our cruises. Part of my role is to organise ship visits and familiarisation trips for our travel agents, to fully immerse themselves in our brand; I always say our ships are my best classroom! Recently I won a Travel industry award ‘Trainer Star of the Year’ at the Cruise Star awards, the award is proudly displayed on my desk for all to see! I am lucky enough to cruise at least once a year, with the Norwegian Fjords and the Caribbean being my favourite destinations to visit. Career highlights for me include attending the launch of Britannia when our late Queen named our Flagship and being part of launching both Iona and Arvia. This year I’m off to Croatia and Sicily on board Azura, two countries I’m yet to explore! Outside of work and holidaying, I live in the New Forest, I love being outdoors running and cycling in the beautiful fresh air!

My passion for cruising and career at sea started at the tender age of 1 year old when my Nan and Grandad took me on the much-loved Canberra in 1987. I have since worked on board for 14 years but have moved shoreside last May…so nearly a year now working at Carnival House, Southampton. I have always had a personal passion for cruising and was very lucky growing up to have sailed on all the P&O Cruises ships as our family holiday. I have since combined my personal passion for cruising with my professional career. I started my career working for Harding Retail in the role of shop manager, during my time I was lucky enough to work on all three Cunard Queens – QM2, QE and QV – and complete four World Voyages. I then launched the senior loyalty and cruise sales manager role for P&O Cruises back in 2017 on board (again) the much-loved Oriana, and have since worked on Oceana, Azura, Aurora and Arcadia. And of course, sailed on all our stunning fleet of ships in my own time with family and friends. Most recently I sailed on Arvia over Christmas and New Year, celebrating in style in the sunshine of the Caribbean. I have loved living on board our incredible cruise ships, living in the product, meeting all our incredible guests and being part of the crew family on board. It has been the time of my life. What I have loved most about my time at sea is by far sailing to amazing places, building incredible relationships with our guests, crew life and living on board our stunning fleet of ships. It is in my blood, and I have loved every minute.
