With more than 30 years’ experience in the Cruise sector, Bernie has a recognised history for launching and establishing a number of Premium, Upper Premium and Luxury Cruise brands across the global international arena. Passionate about the industry, he sat on the CLIA UK Executive Committee for 7 years and is committed to supporting the sector at every opportunity.
Bernie has been thriving in the truly vibrant Expedition Cruise sector at a time of great expansion and increasing demand for the many expedition destinations that are now readily available.
Bernard has a passion for exploration and adventure, believing life is there to be lived and shared to create the very best life-long memories. His mantra “Travel opens your eyes, your mind and your heart” is one that every ardent explorer will understand.
Kaye Holland was born and bred in Watford, a town labelled by Lonely Planet as “the kind of place that makes you want to travel.”
They weren’t wrong: she lived and worked as a journalist in the Middle East, China, the Caribbean, and Argentina before returning to London.
Kaye has covered cruise for publications including Cruise and Travel, Cruise Critic, Travel Weekly, The Times, The I, The Independent, and appeared on both World of Cruising TV and the BBC’s Travel Show.
When she’s not on a cruise – or writing/speaking about one – you’ll find Kaye cheering on her beloved Watford Football Club.

What if I can’t make the event?
If a recording’s available for the event, you can still register for it and we will send you an email with a link to a recording shortly after it ends.
Will my camera be on and will I be visible to the other people?
Your camera and microphone does not need to be on for you to enjoy the event. The choice about whether to do this is completely yours.
How do I watch the live event?
Rest Less events are hosted on Zoom, a computer application that allows you to attend online events just by clicking a link. For detailed instructions, please go to our "FAQ" page, which you can find a link to in the nav bar at the top of the page.
How do I sign-up for and access the recording? (Recorded events only)
Book the event as normal (as if you are attending live). After the event ends you will automatically receive a post-event email with a link to the recording, as long as the event was recorded. You do not need to do anything else and there is no separate booking process for recordings only. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for Zoom to process recordings.
