Event Description

Who is this class for?

This class is literally accessible for every BODY. I have worked with hundreds of people to increase their body/mind connection, flexibility and strength whilst remaining seated.

What will we do?

I will ask you to assess where your mind and body connection is today scoring 0-10. This will be your insight about where you are at?

We will then connect with our physical body’s using breathing and/or mindfulness practice.

WHY do we do this first?

Our busy lives often keep us in the head space thinking about the past and planning the future – i.e. planning your shopping list or re-living a conversation in your mind. This takes your power & focus into the future or the past and will literally rob us of BEING present. The present is ‘the power of NOW’ and is found in your breath in your body – Eckhart Tolle has spent a lifetime sharing this insight and I agree!

We will then use the power of your minds focus directing it into areas of the body that often collect tense tight energies, like the head, neck shoulder area. By mindfully focusing in these areas of the body, inviting gentle stretch, feeling what is presented there and using the breath to allow and release the tense energies, we can create space inside. More space inside creates more flexibility, greater balance between right and left side of the body and develops stronger internal awareness.

The body and all its parts love to be focused upon, treated with respect love and kindness. Ignore your body and you get tenseness, tightness & pain! The reason we manifest pain in the body is because we ignored the signals the body gave us to have its needs met. Makes sense, right?

We will Then rescore 0-10 before we connect with our true self, inside, in a short guided meditation.

Meet the Host, Julie

Julie serves her small Welsh Newtown, as a YA 200 hours Yoga Teacher and meditation practitioner through her little non profit company cre8 wellbeing ltd. Julie's Chair Yoga classes are very popular and she travels to a number of village halls, older persons homes and women's groups to accommodate her rural communities needs. She is a qualified group and Personal Trainer at her local leisure centre, Life Coach, Hypnotherapist and Trauma and Breathwork coach having re-trained in her Mid 40's, leaving her 26 year career in children and families front line social work, to discover her life's true purpose.

She loves nature walking with her loving Chihuahua pup Stella, dancing, reading to learn & grow, singing, cycling, practicing psychic readings & Quantum Energy Healing.

Julie is incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to connect in healing love & Light with other beautiful Souls in her classes. Finding her true calling & life's purpose is a Divine blessing which she shares affectionately.

What if I can’t make the event?

If a recording’s available for the event, you can still register for it and we will send you an email with a link to a recording shortly after it ends.

Will my camera be on and will I be visible to the other people?

Your camera and microphone does not need to be on for you to enjoy the event. The choice about whether to do this is completely yours.

How do I watch the live event?

Rest Less events are hosted on Zoom, a computer application that allows you to attend online events just by clicking a link. For detailed instructions, please go to our "FAQ" page, which you can find a link to in the nav bar at the top of the page.

How do I sign-up for and access the recording? (Recorded events only)

Book the event as normal (as if you are attending live). After the event ends you will automatically receive a post-event email with a link to the recording, as long as the event was recorded. You do not need to do anything else and there is no separate booking process for recordings only. Please note it can take up to 24 hours for Zoom to process recordings.
